Research Week set for spring

The University of the Incarnate Word will hold its fifth annual UIW Research Week Feb. 27-March 2, said Dr. Kevin Vichales, dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research.

Faculty and students will present poster abstracts describing research projects.

The special event is made possible by UIW’s Extramural Associates Research Development Award funded by the National Institutes of Health and the UIW grad school’s Office of Research Development.

“The celebration of faculty/student scholarship and research will span the last week in February 2012 to allow a longer period of campus participation and poster viewing,” Vichales said.
