Aramark honors housekeepers

Aramark, which the University of the Incarnate Word has contracted for housekeeping, honored its staff for special achievements and years of service at an April 6 “Recognition Day.”
Aramark also awarded Dr. Louis J. Agnese Jr., UIW’s president, a special plaque marking his 25 years of service to the institution at the program in McCombs Center Rosenburg Sky Room.
Accident-Free Awards went to John Don for 27 years of accident-free service, and five-year honors to Esperanza Flores, Elida Meza, Mary Helen Patlan and Catalina Ramirez.
Esperanza Flores and Mario Moya also received special five-year service awards. Mary Ann Vega was named the “Most Admired Employee” and Sara Lopez received “Employee of the Year.”

Maria Perez, James Pressley, Nora Rabago, Cathy Ramirez, Irma Ramos, Bertha Romero, Maria Romero, Maria Saenz, Janet Sanchez, Otilia Sanchez, Vidal Sanchez, Martha Saucedo, Sylvia Tristan, Hortensia Vallejo and Veronica Zuniga.
